Message From AOGS 2008 Local Advisory Co-Chairs The Asia Oceania Geosciences Society (AOGS) holds its 5th Annual Meeting in Busan, Korea to expand its presence in Geosciences communities in the region and in the world. We are delighted to host the Annual Meeting in Busan and to participate in that endeavour. The citizens, media and the Busan Metropolitan City government are also enthusiastic about the meeting. The city, located in the South-Eastern corner of the Korean Peninsular is a perfect place for such meetings as the city offers diverse activities from which practically every visitor can find something of interest. We would like to invite colleagues in geo-scientific communities and accompanying persons to this exciting meeting and to this lively city. |
