Dr. Tan Wei Lin

Senior Manager (Technology), Office for Space Technology and Industry

Dr. Tan Wei Lin is a Senior Manager of Technology at the Office for Space, Technology and Industry (OSTIn), where she manages Earth Observation R&D funding and STEM outreach. She has a passion for STEM education and was a coordinator for the Women in Science and Engineering society at Brown University, and subsequently conducted Astronomy outreach activities in Singapore through the Astronomy.SG society. Wei Lin has been engaged in research in materials science since 2012, spanning topics including multiferroic oxides, computational materials design and in situ resource utilization. She received a B.Sc. in Chemistry and Geology from Brown University, and a PhD in Materials Science from the California Institute of Technology.
