| Session Description | Recent advances in tools for accurate data collection, reasonable interpretation, efficient modeling, and effective allocation can greatly contribute improving of IWRM. This session aims to share knowledge and experiences for professionals and engineers of water and environmental management fields in recent tool developments and their applications for IWRM. We invite presentations focusing on any development/improvement and application of tools for IWRM at regional or local basin levels. Especially, techniques and experiences in interlinking components of outputs from different IWRM tools are welcomed. These can include: linking of hydrological monitoring with water resources planning; linking of hydrological forecasts with decision making; surface and ground water interlinking; linking of water quantity with quality management, etc.. This session will provide participants insight in IWRM tools. |
