With continuous and rapid urbanizations taking place in Asia in the past decades, accompanied by the ever increasing water demand and various types of water usages, many cities face problems such as severe flooding, water shortages, pollution. Cities which practice a well integrated water resources management are, however, able to address and deal with those issues. This session provides an excellent platform for sharing our experiences on, e.g. specific urbanization issues, associated problems, challenges to the integration of water resources management, methodologies adopted. |
