Natural and man made floods are still causing havoc all round the globe, specially in the heavily populated Asian Oceanic regions. The main purpose of this session is to provide a platform for researchers, scientists and planners to share and discuss their experiences, recent researches, tools and methods about floods and flood forecasting to synthesize the strategy of reducing the miseries and enhancing the benfits of the floodings. |
