| Session Description | Fractal theory is now proven technique for analysis and modeling of non-linear processes. It has wide applications in earth sciences. In this session we will focus on applications of fractals in geophysical survey design, acquisition, processing, and modeling. Also this session is aimed to have deliberations on fractal application in seismological studies viz. b-value estimation, and power law in earthquakes and other latest studies based on fractal theory. |
