Improved predictions of tropical cyclone (TC) intensity, structure and motion require accurate predictions of various processes in air–sea interface including the ocean response. This session focuses on modeling and measurements studies on air-sea interaction in tropical cyclone. The ocean response to TC, the coupled wind-wave-current processes, air-sea flux measurements and modeling, the coupled boundary layer dynamics in air-sea interface, etc will be good topics in this session. |
