Session Description | This session will address the latest results obtained from different missions (e.g. Mars Global Surveyor, Mars Odyssey, Venus Express, Mars Express, Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter etc.) that cover all fields of research from atmosphere/ionosphere to the surface and interior of the planets. The prime objective of this session is to present new measurements, but authors presenting papers on theory and modeling in support of the analysis of new results will be most welcome. The second objective of the session is to discuss upcoming future mission programs and the results obtained from new ground based observations as well as from related improved analyses of earlier data. Both solicited and contributed papers will be presented in this session. Comparative studies in the atmospheres and ionospheres of Venus and Mars are also encouraged. |
