| Session Description | Contributions are invited dealing with geochemical reconstructions of climate change and climate variability in the Asia Oceania region. We particularly welcome contributions focusing on the Indo-Pacific connections, but also encourage contributions from other areas, both marine and terrestrial. We further welcome new approaches in geochemistry, the development of new tracers and proxies, and the application of state-of-the art geochemical equipment. We will include reconstructions based on a range of materials, such as sediments, corals and speleothems. We encourage contributions for recent as well as longer-term geological time scales. |
