Session Description High-resolution paleoclimate records from terrestrial and marine realms in Asia and Oceania offer multiple lines of evidence to understand complexities of low- and high-latitudinal climate forcings on zonal and meridional transports of moisture and energy. Model simulations can provide opportunities to describe possible pathways and detailed mechanisms for the climate variability. Contributions are invited dealing with geochemical proxy-reconstructed and model-simulated climate/environment changes at different time scales since the last glacial period. We welcome reconstructions based on lacustrine and marine sediments, cave deposits, biogenic carbonates, and also regional and global model simulations.
