| Session Description | Remote sensing technology is providing great scope for study of earth systems including atmosphere and oceans on varying resolutions and frequencies of electromagnetic spectrum. The atmospheric processes influencing the ocean circulation and productivity need to be understood at greater accuracies and st synopitic level. The optical, thermal infrared and microwave sensors being launched by several countries are providing good amount of data and the session is expected to provide an interdisciplinary platform for exchange of research findings, modeling techniques and technologies of satellite sensor development |
