| Session Description | Along with the potential significant future changes in global climate and environment, occurrences of weather/climate extremes around the world will likely be more frequent and in greater magnitude. These extremes would result in many water-related hazards, such as floods, droughts, and water-borne diseases, and hamper our socio-economic sustainable development. This session is intended to bring together contributions that deal with research on hydrological explorations regarding weather/climate extremes. |
