| Session Description | This session is of interest to a wide audience of recent developments and applications of theoretical and computational modeling techniques in the field of seismology, including source representation, wave propagation, synthetic seismogram, tsunami generation & propagation, tomographic inversion and real-time data analysis. The objective of the session is to foster discussion between experimentalists and modelers in seismology in order to understand which mechanisms are active in natural earthquakes and how they influence our observation. The authors of every potential paper which contains theoretical and computational results are encouraged to submit an abstract and present in this session. |
