Session Description Ecohydrology is an interdisciplinary field studying the interactions between water and ecosystem. Ecosystem responses to hydrological regime at a variety of spatial and temporal scales. Simultaneously, hydrological processes are affected by ecosystem. In this general ecohydrology session, we seek contributions from a wide range of disciplines covering the interactive processes between ecosystem and hydrological regime as the central idea. Research studies based on field works, theories, experiments, and numerical simulations are particularly interested. We also very welcome studies on landscape formation as an interesting link between hydrological processes and ecosystem feedbacks, and encourage interdisciplinary work between ecohydrology and social, economic or legislative issues.
