Session Description | Using submarine cables for ocean-floor network observatories is a very effective tool for monitoring natural phenomena such as natural hazards. In ocean-floor network observatories, data is used in real-time and long-term observations, which is especially important for submarine natural hazard monitoring such as earthquakes and tsunamis. Besides, it is important for data integration and exchange. Recent development of ocean cabled observatories is getting more and more attention. In this session, we welcome various topics related to ocean floor network observatories and their scientific applications. |
