Session Description Typhoon Impact on Ocean Environment and Disaster Session is focused on promotion of mutual exchange of scientific knowledge and technology for reduction of disaster and prevention of ocean environment for human life. As Typhoon moves from the place of its original occurrence toward the South China Sea, the Yellow Sea and the East Sea/ Japan Sea, even the Asian Continent, the impact of typhoon during and after its passage has been significantly severe on the climate change of this area and the ecological environment in the continent and sea. Therefore, it will be very important to research the relative typhoon to its intensification and decay, severe rainfall, destruction of estuary and coastal sea environments such as re-distribution of SST, Chlorophyll, coral leaf and Marine Productivity, Air-sea Interaction and Marine Circulation, Satellite Remote Sensing and Ecology Environmental Monitoring, Disastrous Climate Change, Marine Environment and Ecological Response, Ocean Chemical cycle and Evaluation of Natural Hazards and Crisis Management on Typhoon, etc., to attain a deeper knowledge on the by participants’ collaborations for future oceanic and atmospheric explorations. Papers on any other phenomena are also welcomed.
