| Session Description |
Contributions addressing issues in MLT, and Upper Atmosphere and Ionosphere physics in regional and global scales, which are not covered in any of the special sessions, are solicited to this general session. The topics for this general session include mean winds, tides and waves in MLT region and thermosphere; anomalies in MLT region, thermosphere and ionosphere; semi-annual, annual, QBOs, solar cycle and long-term variations of the MLT region, thermosphere and ionosphere; ionospheric indication of earthquake; TEC and tomography; plasma irregularities including plasma bubbles, spread F and scintillations; equatorial and auroral electrojets; sporadic E and metallic layers; air glow, TADs and TIDs; thermospheric and ionospheric storms; space weather; and atmospheric electricity. Contributions using regional and global in situ and ground-based observations, and theoretical and numerical modelling are solicited. |
