Session Description The Moon is the most explored body in the solar system other than the Earth, and the basic concepts of planetary formation by giant imapct origin and planetary evolution processes are based on the data obtained by the past lunar missios. In a decade, lunar missions have been done or planned such as SMART-1, Kaguya, ChangE-1, Chandrayaan-1, LRO/LCROSS, ChangE-2, LADEE, GRAIL, Chandrayaan-2, and possible future landing missions. New science results from lunar missions will be presented and discussed in this session to construct the new views of the Moon. Topics on future lunar missions and instrumentation are also welcomed.
