Dr. Y.-J. Chen (National Central University, Taiwan)
Co-convener(s)
Session Description The Laboratory Planetary Sciences Session aims to bring together researchers working in the fields of planetary sciences, astrophysics, and astrochemistry (experimentalists, observers, and modelers), with a strong focus on experimental studies. The research areas include all spectral ranges, particle and radiation interaction with all phases of matter, including ices and tholins, formation/evolution of molecules under astrophysical conditions, cross sections and reaction rates, with an emphasis on results applied to planetary, cometary, and astronomical observations.

This session being interdisciplinary by definition, it will promote the dialog among interdisciplinary researchers, from Asia and the rest of the world, and consequently increase the collaboration and cross-fertilization of ideas to ensure the continual growth of scientific understanding all the fields related with Planetary Sciences.
