| Session Description | This session will focus on numerical and observational studies on multi-scale ocean dynamics in marginal/shelf seas. Contributions based on observational, theoretical, and modeling studies are invited on a range of topics including, but not limited to forcing by the western boundary current (WBC) systems, atmospheric and oceanic processes affecting air-sea interactions, oceanic jet, fronts, eddies, the influence of physical processes on ecosystem dynamics and interdisciplinary coastal modeling and predictions. Studies on advanced data assimilation techniques, error analysis, as well as integration of modeling and observational networks are also welcomed. |
