| Session Description | This session invites geochemists, mineralogists, gemmologists and geochronologists working on geological and genetic aspects, resource and potential of gemstone deposits, particularly in the western Pacific, Asian Margin Region. Geographic typing of gemstones is a theme of interest. Techniques of dating gem sources and their tectonic and genetic implications are a further theme interest. |
