| Session Description | This session aims to provide an occasion for earth scientists of wide discipline from geochemistry, igneous petrology to ore geology to assemble and to present scientific results and make discussions about the processes of formation and modification of the mantle-crust system. No single earth-forming processes can be independent; many mantle processes observed from ophiolites or xenoliths should be linked to some crustal processes and vice versa. Activities of magmas and fluids have created and modified the solid earth through formation of minerals, ores and rocks within the mantle-crust system. Therefore, we would like to encourage many scientists who are interested in mantle or crustal processes, and their linkage to attend this session. |
