Session Title New Insights from the 2011 Great Tohoku Earthquake and Recent Large Earthquakes

Session Description Because of the 2011 great Tohoku earthquake (M9.0), there has been a surge of new insights in seismology or tsunami related sciences until now. In this session, those new scientific results related to the 2011 Tohoku earthquake are welcome. Also, recent large earthquakes, such as the 2012 Sumatra, 2013 Taiwan, 2013 Pakistan, 2013 Philippine earthquakes, occurred in Asia and Oceania region and caused significant disaster near the source areas. A scientific results from those recent large earthquakes are welcome too
