| Session Description | The collision of the Indian and Eurasian plates results in complex seismotectonics and great earthquakes in the Himalayan region. They are not only scientifically interesting but also key factors for seismic hazards in this region to the southern Asia and western China. We will discuss all their aspects including geological study, data analysis, earthquake source modeling, ground motion simulation, seismic hazard assessment. |
