Session Description | Atmospheric composition and their parameters play important roles in Earth's atmosphere-land system. They include aerosols, gas. clouds and meteorological parameters, which absorb and reflect solar radiation through Earth's atmosphere and thus affect climate change. Satellite remote sensing for these components has important advantages in monitoring in global scale, and its application to climate studies. This session is focusing on remote sensing of aerosol, gas, clouds and meteorological parameters from both satellite and ground-based. Analysis of relationship among these components are welcome as well as the understanding of these major components' characteristics based on different remote sensing approaches. |
