Session Description | Carbone Capture and Storage (CCS) have a large potential to mitigate the Carbon Dioxide (CO2) emission to atmosphere. The mitigation of CO2 emission will be a big issue of Asia and Oceania countries. The CCS is an interdisciplinary project between the basic science (geology, geophysics and geochemistry) to reservoir engineering techniques (site selection、facilities design and potential evaluation). This session focuses on the CCS projects conducting and planning at the Asia and Oceania regions. The session also covers basic studies of geophysical monitoring, laboratory experiment, theoretical analysis and computer simulation. |
