Session Description Observations, modeling, and predictions for hydrogeological assessment keep on growing, cross-fertilizing one another and creating important technological and theoretical synergies. To understand the complex relationship among observations, modeling, and predictions of aquifer systems remains one of the key challenges in hydrogeological assessment. It is important to integrate the impact of hydrogeological information on aquifer systems, because of the existence of large uncertainties in observations, modeling, and predictions for hydrogeological assessment. Aims of this session are to provide a platform and opportunity to present and discuss innovative techniques and methods of the integration of observations, modeling, and predictions for hydrogeological assessment. The session is targeted at hydrologist, hydrogeologist, and statisticians interested in the framwork of spatial and temporal analysis of hydrogeological information and will allow researchers from varieties of fields to efficiently communicate their researches.
