| Session Description | From its formation at the mid-oceanic ridges to its emplacement and modification by arc magmas at convergent zones, the oceanic lithosphere is subjected to various igneous and metamorphic processes. This session aims to provide a venue for the exchange of new ideas and the discussion of relevant issues pertaining to the different aspects of the generation and modification of the oceanic lithosphere. We encourage geoscientists and students who are interested in current research in ophiolites, mantle xenoliths and other crust-mantle related processes to attend our session. |
