Session Description | This session covers all topics relating to the study of the Earth’s magnetosphere which do not fit into the other more specific sessions. Topics include phenomena in large regions of the magnetosphere, for example, foreshock, bow shock, magnetosheath, lobes, magnetic reconnection region, magnetotail, plasma sheet, ring current, radiation belt, plasmasphere, cusp, polar cap, auroral arcs, etc. Contributions reporting the latest results from theory, modeling, simulation, and analysis of ground-based and satellite data are welcome. |
