| Session Description | Water is vital for life, food, energy and ecosystem services, etc. This section thus seeks to discuss policy and institutional issues related to water. Presentations are expected to show good and bad practices that are useful for various stakeholders such as decision makers, water reources managers, engineers, scientists and water users. New innovative ideas that have not been realized in actual world are also welcome. Highlighted topics are (but not limited to): • Water laws. • Integrated water resources management (IWRM) from the policy and institutional viewpoints. • International cooperation. • Water problems in developing countries. • Economic aspects in water policy. |
