| Session Description | In comparison with other types of forest, little is known about the physical processes operating in swamp forests, which are increasingly threatened world-wide. Papers exploring the aspects of the unique ecology and hydrology of understudied swamp forests, with particular emphasis on mangrove, peat, and other swamp forests in the tropics are invited for this session. |
