Session Description The Moon is the most explored body in the solar system other than the Earth, and the basic concepts of planetary formation by giant impact origin and planetary evolution processes are based on the data obtained by the past lunar missions. In a decade, lunar missions have been done or planned such as SMART-1, Kaguya, ChangE Series, Chandrayaan Series, LRO/LCROSS, LADEE, GRAIL, and possible future landing missions. New science results from lunar missions will be presented and discussed in this session to construct the new views of the Moon. This session also covers the topics on instrumentation, theoretical calculations, simulations, modelling, and future lunar missions and observations for the moon.
