| Session Description | The session covers topics focusing on mechanisms and processes during weathering that lead to formation of mineral deposits. The session includes studies highlighting recent developments in the understanding of metals distribution and behavior in various weathering environments. The session encourages submission of geochemical and biogeochemical modelling works in millimeter to regional scale metallic ion mobilization and cycles. Contributions dealing with the applications of traditional and non-conventional isotopic methods are likewise welcome. |
