| Session Description | This session is the fourth one of the previous Forum, which has twofold goals. First, we will offer junior scientists (PhD candidates and postdoctoral scientists) the opportunity to present their own work with any topic related to the atmospheric sciences (meteorology, climatology, hydrometeorology/hydroclimatology, atmospheric environment, weather/climate hazards, etc.), and to serve as the session chair together with senior scientists. Second, as a mentoring session, we will invite a senior scientist to give a presentation on how he/she have challenged the atmospheric sciences during the early career. This session will be a good place to introduce the dissertation/postdoctoral research of junior scientists in the international community. The oral presentations will be selected by the committee through a careful review, and be assigned as "Invited Talks." In this session, we will also present awards to the winners of “Best Student Poster Award". We look forward to active involvement and contributions by young atmospheric scientists. |
