| Session Description | The IUGG Union Commission on Planetary Sciences (UCPS) aims to promote and coordinate scientific (physical, chemical, and mathematical) studies of planets in the solar system and around other stars. In order to advance planetary sciences and the collaboration of IUGG UCPS with AOGS from Asia-Oceania to the global, a joint UCPS-AOGS Session: Planetary Exploration and Geophysics is organized. Papers on recent advances in planetary atmosphere, geophysics, geodesy, magnetism, cryosphere, seismology, volcanology, and the physics and chemistry of the interior of the planets in our solar system and around other stars are welcome as well as future missions. |
