Soils are part of the Critical Zone, soil organic matter and C-cycling processes are both responders and drivers of the interaction between atmosphere and vegetation. This session invites contributions that address underlying the process mechanisms, novel techniques, responses, and feedbacks governing soil-plant-atmosphere interactions. We encourage presentations from various approaches and issues such as observation, experiment and modelling that can bridge knowledge gaps among chamber, plot and tower studies. |
