Geoscientists working on projects supported by SEG’s Geoscientists Without Borders® will present on work conducted in four locations within Asia and Oceania. The work presented will include projects in the following areas: tsunami preparedness, earthquake preparedness, groundwater management, and habitat management. Presentations will focus on data, interpretation, recommendations, and efforts to ensure sustainability of the work. Presenters will highlight ways in which they collaborated with local community leaders, geoscientists in the area, and others seeking to provide humanitarian aid or education in the region. Presentations are intended for a broad audience with basic geoscience understanding.
