High power nuclear electric propulsion is a necessary for high mass payload to Moon, Mars, asteroids, Jupiter, Saturn and deep space exploration in the heliosphere and local interstellar medium. High power space exploration projects, like the results of European-Russian project DEMOCRITOS and related projects will be introduced and discussed. The international space and geosciences communities are invited to contribute to the spacecraft payload module for Jupiter moon EUROPA and MARS as well as to further INPPS (International Nuclear Power and Propulsion System) flagship subsystems of DEMOCRITOS project results. |
