Session Description | The Global Geodetic Observing System (GGOS) is the geodetic contribution to the Global Earth Observing System of Systems (GEOSS). GGOS 2020 aims to unify traditionally separated geometric and geophysical reference systems and for the realization of a 3D position error of 1 mm on the global scale and a reference point velocity error of no more than 0.1 mm/year. To meet the fundamental goals of the GGOS 2020, besides the infrastructure promotion and evolution, it is the task of the VLBI/SLR/GNSS/DORIS techniques to improve their products by further developments. This session is dedicated to the recent developments in geodetic data analysis and applications, including new models, novel methods and strategies, combined GNSS/SLR/VLBI/DORIS data analysis, multi-GNSS algorithms, Geodetic bias issues (e.g. SLR instrument bias, GNSS inter-system and inter-signal biases etc.); and the latest developments in national multi-sensor and multi-purpose Geodetic infrastructure. |
