| Session Description |
Natural hazards represent a major research field within the interdisciplinary research section. Many different research themes are involved in targeting risk reduction, including earth science, engineering research and disaster management. Invariably there are many sessions related to natural hazards scattered throughout each of the AOGS sections and it is not easy to get a full grasp of all of the ongoing issues. For this session we have therefore invited representative speakers who study natural hazards to come together and discuss ongoing issues and perspectives, and to address key crossovers between each section. |
