Session Description | The Proximal mission of the Cassini Orbiter and the JUNO mission have signaled the in-depth investigations of the atmosphers and inetriors of Jupiter and Satrun, respectively. These two daring projects with the spacecraft swinging by narrow gaps between the topside atmospheres and the rings were heralded in by the 2015 flyby observations of the Pluto-Charon system by the New Horizons deep-space probe. The new results of these three space missions will be the foxus of this session. In addition, the scientific goals and technical preparation of the JUICE mission to Ganymede and the Europa Clipper (and probably the Europa Lander also) mission to the potential habitable Europa will also be highlighted. Topics about exoplanets will also be relevant. |
