Session Description | Hydroinformatics is a branch of informatics which concentrates on the application of information and communications technologies in addressing societal and environmental problems related to water. It covers a cross-disciplinary field of study, combining technological, human-sociological and more general environmental interests, including an ethical perspective. This session invites the abstracts in data-driven modelling and management, artificial neural networks, evolutionary methods, big data, Geographic information systems (GIS) and virtual imaging, ecology and water quality modelling, knowledge engineering and management, socio-economic framework, decision support, Internet-based applications, optimisation and control, risk analysis, fuzzy logic, sensitivity analysis and uncertainty, etc. |
