| Session Description | ENSO (El Nino and Southern Oscillation) and IOD（Indian Ocean Dipole）are the strongest sources of interannual climate variability in the tropical Pacific and the tropical Indian Ocean, even in the world for the former. They have great impact worldwide. This session will cover all contributions related to ENSO and IOD including their theory, impact and prediction. It is believed that this session can attract a number of ENSO/IOD-related researchers. |
