| Session Description | Volcanic eruptions and their associated hazards affect over 10% of the world's population and interdisciplinary research is crucially important to improve hazard assessment and communication, monitoring, forecasting, and mitigation. For this session, we invite speakers from across all AOGS disciplines who study volcanic eruption from any perspective to explore and share ongoing research and issues, and to address key crossovers between each section. |
