Session Title | High-resolution Terrestrial- and Marine Proxy-inferred Climate and Environment Changes in the Asia-Oceania Region Since the Last Deglaciation |
Main Convener | Prof. Chuan-Chou Shen (National Taiwan University, Taiwan) |
Co-convener(s) | Prof. Liangcheng Tan (Chinese Academy of Sciences, China) Prof. Yusuke Yokoyama (The University of Tokyo, Japan) Dr. Keyan Fang (Fujian Normal University, China) |
Session Description | High-resolution paleoclimate records from terrestrial and marine realms in Asia and Oceania offer multiple lines of evidence to understand complexities of low- and high-latitudinal climate forcings on zonal and meridional transports of moisture and energy. Contributions are invited dealing with geochemical proxy-reconstructed and climate/environment changes at different time scales since the last glacial period. We welcome climate and environmental reconstructions based on high-resolution proxies and model simulations on regional and global scales. |
