Mission Statement

Dr. Khin Zaw is actively linked with counterpart geologists from Asia region. He currently completed editing and contributing papers for a special volume of Mineral Deposits of South China in peered reviewed "ORE GEOLOGY REVIEWS" journal. He is also organizing a section on SE04: Tectonics and Metallogeny in Asia and Oceania as a Main Convener at 4th Asia-Oceania Geological Society (AOGS) Conference in Bangkok, Thailand. If he is elected as a President of Solid Earth Section, he will continue to organize similar widely popular sections and involve in promotion of AOGS to the forefront in Asia and the world as an outstanding and premiere research organization. He will particularly aim to training and participation of young generation scientists in the AOGS. He will link up with Presidents from other AOGS sections for the advancement of Science in Asia and the world.
