Mission Statement

Since its establishment in 2003, Asia Oceania Geosciences Society (AOGS) has been playing an important role in improving mutual understanding and cooperation between geo-scientists, and development and applications of geo-science in Asia and Oceania, and in the world. At present AOGS is an international recognized regional academic organization. If I have the honor to be elected to the post of AOGS, I will do my best to server for the AOGS as follows.

To promote mutual exchange of multi-disciplines of geo-sciences.
To enhance participation of geo-scientists in Asia and Oceania.
To concern about the growth, and to enhance participation of the young geo-scientists in Asia and Oceania.
To further improve the academic quality of annual assembly.
To continue and develop international contact with world well-known geo-science organizations.
