GEOHOST PROGRAM

The GeoHost Program is meant to subsidize travel, registration fees, and other expenses of young scientists (below 35 years on 31st December 2010).

GeoHost Program is outlined by the Chairman, Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of the AOGS2010, i.e. giving priority to young scientists with high academic qualifications and accomplishments, who are in need of financial support. An effort is being made to create 20 GeoHost awards, but the number of awards may vary according to the funding support. Scientist of any nationality can apply for this award.

The funds for this program are provided by the LOC under the aegis of Indian Geophysical Union associated with the AOGS2010.

The selection will be done by a committee on the basis of the information provided by the applicants.

Applicants, who wish to apply for the GeoHost Program award, should submit their application along with following information, to the Chairman LOC of AOGS2010 at director@ngri.res.in with a copy to koteswara999@rediffmail.com and aogs2010LOC@gmail.com:
