Election at the General Meeting in 2021 (Cancelled)

Due to COVID-19, the elected Council is incapacitated and has not fully served. The current Council (for 2020 – 2022) also failed to receive sufficient mentorship since the July 2020 AOGS Annual Meeting in South Korea was cancelled. Furthermore, current global travel restrictions have made planning for an in-person meeting in 2021 difficult. There were concerns that a newly elected Council (for 2022 to 2024) will not be able to fulfill their potential due to these situations. Members were polled in December 2020 and an overwhelming majority agreed to extend the term of the current council by 2 years from 2022 to 2024.
