Proceedings
1.	Opening and Welcome Addresses Professor Takehiko Satoh, AOGS President, welcomed members and guests and called the meeting to order at 2:30pm. This was followed by a recorded greeting from the Japan National Tourism Organization and welcome addresses from representatives of Fukuoka City and Kyushu University.
2.	Approval of the Agenda The agenda was approved as presented.
3.	Publication Committee Report Professor Van-Thanh-Van Nguyen presented the Publication Committee’s report and updates for the past year. The report was received.
4.	Regional Advisory Committee Report Professor Bellie Sivakumar presented the Regional Advisory Committee’s report and updates for the past year. The report was received.
5.	Treasurer’s Report The Treasurer’s report and audited financial statements were presented. No questions or objections were raised, and the report was approved as presented.
6.	Secretary General’s Report Professor Ji Chen presented the Secretary General’s report on the Society’s activities during the past year. The report was received.
7.	Approval of Honorary Member Award Professor Van-Thanh-Van Nguyen was presented for consideration as an Honorary Member. No objections were raised, and members approved the appointment. Professor Nguyen was declared duly appointed as an Honorary Member of AOGS.
8.	Presentation of Awards Professor Takehiko Satoh, AOGS President, presented the following awards: Axford Medal : Professor Benjamin Horton Honorary Member : Professor Van-Thanh-Van Nguyen AOGS Fellows : Professor Fei Chen; Professor Changming Dong; Professor Yoshiharu Omura; Professor Yukari Takayabu; Professor Yuqing Wang
9.	Adjournment There being no further business, the Annual General Meeting was adjourned at 3:40pm.
